Hot foiling works best on real leather or vegan leather, as well as certain paper and cardboard surfaces. It is ideal for luggage tags, notebooks, cardholders, passport holders, and similar items. It does not work on glass or metal, but I offer hand engraving for those materials.

What foil colors are available?

Gold and silver are the most popular and the ones I keep stocked. Rose gold is also available. If you have a specific brand color in mind, reach out and we can discuss options.

How long does each hot foiling piece take at a live event?

Each foiling typically takes about 2 to 4 minutes, depending on the length of the personalization. It is one of the faster personalization services, which makes it great for events with a high volume of guests.

Can you foil a logo or custom design?

Yes, with the right setup. Custom designs require a brass die to be made in advance, which adds some lead time and cost. For most event activations, we use a standard initial or monogram format. Get in touch early if you want a custom design so we have time to prepare.
